Ok, so I was thinking about that new TV show with Geena Davis called Commander in Chief. So shes the VP and the Prez gets sick and dies so she has to make a choice about whether she will actually do the prez thing. Now first off, doesn't a canidate make that choice before they agree to run for VP. Why would this have to be a disecion she would make when it happens? In the previews she is like "I don't know if I want that power" and Donald Sutherlands character is like "That's the Problem, you should resign." I don't understand this, it doesn't make any sense, and it is supposed to be like she is growing and will step up to the plate to do this, but huh. Anyone running for VP knows they might have to be president, that is like their only job(yes I know it isn't really.) It just doesn't compute for me. Ok so I just read the synopsis on ABC.com and it states that the party wants her to resign because she does not follow their ideals, but hello why would you nominate her as VP if she didn't. Then secondly, how come a women can only become President if she is the VP and the President dies or gets hijacked. Everytime you see a women as president in a role it is never because she was elected. It is so freakin' annoying.
